Groundhog Day Musings

Will he? Won't he? Today, Wiarton Willie peeks his head out to make his annual winter/spring weather prognostication. Let's see if he's more reliable than Environment Canada and the Farmers' Almanac.

So, here's the deal. If Wiarton Willie sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter. If he doesn't see his shadow, there will be just a month and a half.

Got it?

*UPDATE*

"The sun has peaked;
My shadow I see.
Six More Weeks
Of Winter it will be."

- Wiarton Willie -

So, why does Willie speak in Elizabethan English?

Any how, six more weeks of winter? That should take us to about ... oh, I dunno ... March 21?
