A Sophomoric Malaprop ...

... offers unsolicited writing advice.

Salaam Abdul Khaliq's self-styled 'clinic' on earning big $$$ through "Islamophobia" offers this nugget of advice to "mediocre" writers seeking fame and fortune:

And, mind you, you don’t need to be an expert on the subject matter, just make sure to quote verses from the Qur’an out of context, cite Osama Bin Laden as the role model of Muslim behavior, bank on tired canaries like "Islam oppresses women," and "Islam was spread by the sword," and other washed out clich├ęs, and voila!

Humbly, sir, I submit to you that the word you were groping for around deadline time was (and is) "canards" not "canaries".

Better luck next time.
