Debate Night in Canada: Hamilton vs. Jefferson It Won't Be

But, I'll settle for Ron McLean and Don Cherry. Oh, and of course there will be a tripartite Greek chorus, too.

Tonight's English-language leaders debate, hosted by Steve Paikin, can't help but be better than last night's "round table" farce in French. Please Steve, don't make the egregious mistake of asking the candidates to say something "nice" about eachother. Gag.

While the campaigns are all trying to manage expectations, maybe this will be an opportunity just to see what comes out in the wash. It won't really matter though. Because in the end it is the spin cycle that will make the biggest splash.

Anyway, I'm not holding out for the "knock out" punch. I'll be looking for the wedgie.
