Before Wolf Blitzer has a chance to announce the time at the top of the hour, when the polls close in South Dakota, Obama will already have de facto sewn up the nomination. At this hour, according to CNN, Obama needs only 12 delegates to clinch the Democratic nomination. Reportedly, Hillary Clinton is preparing to concede, and perhaps to throw the weight of her considerable political machine behind Obama's presidential campaign.
Brace yourselves as the U.S. presidential campaign unofficially begins. (Aye! I see you've played "Hopey-Changey" before.)
