Reason and Proportion - 9; Grievance and Victimhood - 0

The Supreme Court of Canada has just ruled on the case of the Windsor man who became depressed, (apparently) sexually impotent, and profoundly ectophobic after discovering a fly in his water bottle. In a unanimous 9-0 decision, Canada's top court has just struck down the 2005 ruling of the Ontario Court of Appeal, in which the plaintiff was awarded $341,000 + interest for mental distress.
