Drumheller School Fire

Where's Gulliver when you need him? This actually happened this past March. A former school building (used as a storage facility since the '60s) caught fire in the town of Drumheller, Alberta. The school had been built in the mid-1920s to replace (you guessed it) a school that burned down.

And here the editor of the Drumheller Valley Times is escorted off the property by police. What a concept. Journalists (our moral superiors, as Kathy is inclined to intone sardonically) are civilians, and are not privileged to interfere with the work of emergency personnel. Go figure.
